What you'll do

Author cloud architecture content for RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses including technical volumes and transition plans.
Translate agency requirements into defensible technical solutions with clear discriminators and cloud cost models.
Scope, build, and demo working proofs of concept (POCs) and pilots in federal cloud environments.
Stand up infrastructure as code, containerized workloads, CI/CD pipelines, and data or AI/ML pipelines.
Conduct technical discovery sessions and whiteboard workshops with client architects and program leadership.
Maintain fluency in federal compliance frameworks including FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53, and Zero Trust requirements.
Build and maintain relationships with public sector partner teams at AWS, Microsoft, and Google.
Hand off successful prototypes to delivery teams with architecture documentation, runbooks, and clean IaC repositories.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
15+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or technical presales.
3+ years of experience supporting federal government customers or federal contracts.
Deep hands-on experience in AWS or Azure, including federal regions.
Direct experience contributing technical content to federal proposals.
Practical skill with infrastructure as code, containers and Kubernetes, CI/CD tooling, and Python.
Working knowledge of FedRAMP and the ATO process.
Professional-level cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or Google) (preferred).
