JOB TITLE: Software Quality Assurance Specialist/Applications Tester - TS/SCI with Polygraph
The Software Quality Assurance Specialist/Applications Tester joins the team to support Government activities by ensuring the reliability of enterprise-wide systems and products for the Intelligence Community. This role involves building scalable, maintainable, and high-performance backend services while solving complex IT issues. Key responsibilities include developing quality control methodologies, executing software test plans to identify code discrepancies, and performing manual and automated testing. The specialist will write test scripts, interpret system requirements, and communicate results to development teams within an Agile environment. Required technical skills include proficiency with AWS, ServiceNow, Kubernetes, SQL, MySQL, Oracle, Selenium, and Cypress. Candidates must also demonstrate expertise in JIRA and Confluence to manage documentation and testing processes throughout the software development life cycle.
Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with assurance standards and procedures.
Develop and execute software test plans to identify code discrepancies and determine root causes.
Write and execute test scripts for manual and automated testing using Selenium or Cypress.
Perform SQL test validation using MySQL and Oracle databases.
Conduct formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the software development life cycle.
Document test results and communicate findings directly to the development teams.
Evaluate hardware, software, and associated documentation to maintain established evaluation processes.
Support enterprise-wide systems using AWS, ServiceNow, and Kubernetes in an Agile environment.
What we're looking for
Must be a US Citizen.
Must currently possess an active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have 6+ years of related experience.
Must have experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Cypress.
Must have experience with SQL, MySQL, and Oracle.
Must have strong expertise with AWS and strong familiarity with ServiceNow.
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
