The Boeing Company's F-15 Mission Systems Software Team is hiring a Software Engineering Manager at Level K to lead approximately 20 software engineers across up to three scrum teams, focusing on the development of real-time embedded Operational Flight Program (OFP) software for the Advanced Display Core Processor (ADCP) and upcoming Mission Computer Architecture (MCA). This role involves managing the design, implementation, and testing phases of OFP software while coordinating with program management, suppliers, and other Boeing teams. The successful candidate will leverage technologies such as Ada, C/C++, Python, Git, JIRA, GitLab, and DOORS within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment to enhance F-15 aircraft mission capabilities for both USAF and international customers.

What you'll do
Manage delivery of software products within budget and schedule constraints.
Coordinate with program management, suppliers, and other Boeing teams on projects.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of up to 20 engineers.
Lead scrum teams through the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology.
Develop and execute integrated plans for software development lifecycle activities.
Ensure compliance with Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques for cost control.
Maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports.
What we're looking for
At least 5 years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience in leading software engineering teams using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Proven leadership in a technical management role, or completion of Boeing’s Exploring Leadership course.
Strong background in aircraft systems, avionics, flight controls, and electronics development.
Proficiency in Ada, C/C++, Python, Git, JIRA, GitLab, and DOORS.
Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required for the position.
