What you'll do

Coach data engineering and platform teams on Lean, agile, DevSecOps, and automation-first strategies.
Implement secure software and systems engineering practices to protect data from threats and vulnerabilities.
Manage the full lifecycle of associate management including hiring, performance, training, and salary administration.
Drive an automation-first approach to improve delivery speed, quality, and efficiency across technology teams.
Consult on team formation by consolidating, optimizing, or deconstructing agile teams as needed.
Manage variable capacity through staff augmentation and strategic resource allocation to ensure proper staffing levels.
Partner with governance and architecture stakeholders to deliver data as a shared enterprise asset.

What we're looking for

Must have at least six years of technology engineering experience.
Experience leading teams in a matrixed environment is required.
Three or more years of management experience (preferred).
Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, mathematics, or a related field (preferred).
Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master, Certified Agile Leader, or AWS Practitioner are encouraged (preferred).
Experience leading teams building cloud data platforms, pipelines, or analytics/ML solutions is strongly preferred.
Vendor management experience is preferred.
Knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
