As a Software Engineer, Network Observability (Starlink) on the Starlink Network Monitoring team, you will design, build, and scale software to power observability for the entire Starlink network. Your daily responsibilities include implementing scalable, fault-tolerant data ingestion pipelines to consume high-volume telemetry streams from satellites, user terminals, gateways, and ground infrastructure. Participate in a weeklong rotational on-call schedule for mission-critical systems.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 1+ year of industry and/or internship experience.
3+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a STEM degree.
Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed for mission-critical deadlines.
Ability to work on a weeklong rotational on-call schedule.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for Department of State authorization.
Experience building or operating large-scale observability, telemetry, or real-time analytics systems (preferred).
Strong backend experience with Python, Go, Java, or similar languages (preferred).
Frontend experience with React, Angular, or a comparable JavaScript framework (preferred).
