What you'll do

Build and deploy real-time, map-based Android interfaces for displaying sensor data and controlling aircraft.
Develop APIs for network communications, telemetry, vehicle configuration, and autonomous tasking.
Design foundational software architectures and user experience workflows for multiple unmanned aerial systems.
Integrate with the Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) SDK and its developer ecosystem.
Utilize modern frontend technologies like Jetpack Compose alongside backend languages like C++, Rust, or Golang.
Test and evaluate software using simulations, benchtop hardware, and live flight assets.
Translate complex user requirements into functional software features while balancing engineering constraints.

What we're looking for

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or another related technical degree.
Experience developing software for user interface applications, especially high-traffic, data-intensive, or map-based systems.
Proficiency with modern Android programming languages including Jetpack Compose, XML, Java, and Kotlin.
Proficiency with backend/middleware programming languages such as C++, Rust, or Golang.
Familiarity with client/server networking technologies like TCP/UDP/Multicast, HTTP (REST), or protobuf/gRPC.
Proven ability to translate user needs into software features while balancing experience with engineering constraints.
Willingness to provide on-call support and travel up to 30% of the time.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
