What you'll do

Own the infrastructure used to host and serve recommendation models, embedding-generation models, and self-hosted LLMs.
Optimize, export, and prepare machine learning models for efficient production use across training and inference.
Develop and maintain infrastructure for LLM fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, and inference optimization.
Provide model-hosting and serving capabilities to various product areas including Ads, Content, Growth, and Security.
Manage the inference components that power advertising models for the Ads organization.
Provide ranking and ML infrastructure for products such as Camera, Maps, Chat, and Games.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience, or Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD in a relevant technical field.
Experience building large-scale production machine learning systems, distributed systems, or big data processing.
Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
Good understanding of distributed systems and infrastructure components of large-scale ML.
Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Spark, Flink, or Ray.
Proven track record of operating highly-available systems at significant scale.
Experience with ML Training platforms, optimizing AI model inference, or familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch (preferred).
