Software Engineer, Machine Learning

What you'll do

• Conceptualize, design, and implement algorithmic improvements to the catalog system and product knowledge graph.
• Develop advanced machine learning models to improve advertising efficiency and quality.
• Design and build optimization algorithms for budget pacing and automated bidding.
• Establish data-driven frameworks to analyze bid density, market competitiveness, and platform revenue.
• Develop new data solutions, such as embeddings and consumer profiles, to target relevant audiences.
• Manage the end-to-end ML lifecycle including training, deployment, experimentation, and post-launch monitoring.
• Build and extend data and ML infrastructure to support ads applications and experimentation.
• Scale systems and services to support the growth of the global logistics engine.

What we're looking for

• M.S. or PhD. in a technical field such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics or equivalent.
• 3+ years of ML industry experience with a solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and fundamentals.
• Experience building data/feature engineering pipelines at scale using Pyspark and Snowflake SQL.
• Experience building machine learning systems in production using frameworks such as PyTorch, Keras, lightgbm, scikit-learn, or Spark ML.
• Experience in online advertising (preferred).
• Experience in search relevance and ranking (preferred).
• Experience in recommendation systems (preferred).
