Software Engineer The Software Engineer joins the Cyber & Analytics Business Area to support the analysis, design, development, and testing of cross-platform applications. The role involves developing for Linux and Android operating systems using C++, Qt, and SQLite. Key responsibilities include managing configuration, integrating modules across different languages, and interfacing with APIs and host systems that are virtualized, containerized, or hardware-based. The work focuses on the technical challenges of security engineering, computer network operations, mission software, analytical methods and modeling, signals intelligence, and cryptographic key management. Candidates must possess a Secret DoD clearance and experience in mobile application development for resource-limited devices using modern UI and graphics frameworks.

What you'll do

Design, develop, and test cross-platform applications for Linux and Android operating systems.
Write maintainable, efficient, and secure code using C++ and the Qt framework.
Implement user interfaces for embedded applications and mobile devices using modern graphics frameworks.
Integrate modules across different programming languages and manage SQLite database components.
Manage software configuration and integrate system interfaces with APIs and host hardware.
Optimize software performance specifically for resource-limited mobile and embedded environments.
Participate in Agile Scrum cycles to meet specific customer requirements and project milestones.

What we're looking for

Must possess a current/active Secret DoD security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
4 to 8 years of experience in software engineering.
4+ years of experience developing for Linux/Unix and Android operating systems.
4+ years of experience with C++.
1 to 4 years of experience with Qt and Android application platforms.
Experience designing user interfaces for embedded applications or mobile devices using modern frameworks.
Must obtain a Security+ Certification within 90 days of hire.
