What you'll do

Own the Android SDK architecture, implementation, and long-term technical direction.
Manage the technical backlog and architectural roadmap for Android SDKs.
Lead development and maintenance of Voice and Video SDKs including WebRTC and C++ layers.
Drive build pipeline stability and participate in CI/CD migration efforts.
Define Android best practices and provide expert guidance across the organization.
Conduct code reviews to ensure high standards for quality, correctness, and test coverage.
Partner with product leads to evaluate feasibility and deliver on roadmap commitments.
Monitor and triage customer issues and Git repository problems.

What we're looking for

Over 10 years of software engineering experience with a focus on Android development.
Deep expertise in the Android ecosystem and third-party SDK development.
Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and C++.
Experience with real-time communication technologies such as WebRTC, SIP, and RTP.
Familiarity with CI/CD systems like CircleCI, Buildkite, or GitHub Actions.
Strong communication skills to articulate technical decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and work cross-functionally.
Familiarity with AI tools including Claude and GitHub Copilot.
