What you'll do

Develop, test, document, and maintain high-quality code primarily using Java.
Design and implement backend systems that are testable, maintainable, and extensible.
Build and manage cloud-based distributed systems including REST, RPC, or GraphQL APIs.
Manage data storage and retrieval using both relational and NoSQL databases.
Deploy and release containerized software applications on cloud-based Kubernetes environments.
Utilize CI/CD tools to automate the building, testing, and deployment of software.
Implement distributed orchestration and computing systems using tools like Airflow, Spark, or Flink.
Manage internal infrastructure for areas such as identity, operations, and data processing.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
2+ years of proven experience developing software in a professional capacity.
1+ years of experience implementing cloud-based distributed systems and familiar with API implementations like REST, RPC, or GraphQL.
1+ years of experience using relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB).
1+ years of experience with Java.
Familiarity with OOP principles, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns for backend code.
Experience with CI/CD tools and containerized applications on cloud-based Kubernetes (preferred).
Familiarity with Java web frameworks, unit testing frameworks, tooling languages, JVM internals, and networking concepts (preferred).
