Software Engineer, Information Systems & Technology

As a Software Engineer, Information Systems & Technology, you will join the Information Systems and Technology group to develop, test, document, improve, and maintain code while collaborating with project managers, designers, and internal partners. You will participate in every project phase from planning and design to implementation and future iterations. The role involves building systems for apple.com, retail stores, Apple Care, identity management, data centers, and AI/ML systems. You will primarily use Java along with other languages as needed, utilizing relational databases like Postgres or MySQL and NoSQL options like Cassandra or MongoDB. Technical requirements include experience with cloud-based distributed systems, API implementation, and OOP principles. Preferred skills include familiarity with Spring, Dropwizard, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and various tooling languages such as Go, Python, or Ruby to support backend infrastructure.
