What you'll do

Develop and maintain minimalistic code for components to meet high-availability and high-scalability requirements.
Design and implement REST API and web applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
Create and maintain requirement traceability matrices and user stories to align with business objectives.
Build scripts to automate repetitive tasks within CI/CD pipelines and testing processes.
Identify, track, and perform root cause analysis on defects while conducting regression testing.
Monitor application performance metrics and logs to perform corrective and perfective maintenance.
Execute test cases and prepare test strategies using tools like Selenium, Jira, and Eggplant.
Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and interact with Kafka messaging systems.

What we're looking for

Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in software engineering.
Must have experience with development using Java and designing REST API/web applications using Spring and Spring Boot.
Must have experience with SQL queries, relational databases, and Kafka messaging systems.
Must have experience with cloud-based development in Azure and building containerized applications using Docker.
Must have experience with Shell Scripting, UNIX programming, and API testing tools like Postman and Insomnia.
Must have experience with development tools including JIRA and Git.
Must have experience with CI/CD, automation tools like Selenium, and telemetry.
