What you'll do

Design and develop secure, high-quality production code and algorithms that integrate with dependent systems.
Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications including infrastructure, configuration, and network as code.
Utilize enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to generate code, refactor systems, and create unit tests.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation to reduce manual intervention in deployment and monitoring.
Analyze large datasets and telemetry to identify trends and translate findings into performance improvements.
Monitor platform health and troubleshoot complex production incidents using SRE and DevOps best practices.
Proactively identify patterns in production issues to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
Experience in SRE/DevOps/Platform Engineering environments with demonstrated ownership of reliability, performance, and incident response.
Experience with AWS services such as ECS, VPC, S3, IAM, Lambda, Aurora Postgres, Route53, ELB, and API Gateway.
Strong understanding of automation and Infrastructure as Code, including configuration and network as code for applications and platforms.
Experience leading teams in the safe use of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for reliability engineering workflows.
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to create, test, and troubleshoot code.
Proficiency in at least one programming language and ecosystem relevant to building services, such as Java/Spring Boot.
Experience creating scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka for financial services (preferred).
