Software Engineer III, GenAI Patterns

What you'll do

• Build and own end-to-end full-stack features including UIs, APIs, services, and data layers for AI products.
• Design and implement RAG capabilities including embedding generation, indexing strategies, and semantic search pipelines.
• Develop AI content and document-generation solutions with auditability and guardrails for regulated workflows.
• Engineer agentic workflows with robust policy checks, workflow constraints, and deterministic controls.
• Implement semantic validations to reduce hallucinations and improve output quality through grounding checks and relevance detection.
• Use enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to generate, refactor, and test code while validating outputs for security and performance.
• Apply software development life cycle automation to improve delivery speed and code quality across complex projects.
• Maintain production systems by managing CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning for scalable applications.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
• Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals including clean APIs, robust services, and thoughtful UX.
• Experience building production systems including CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, performance tuning, and scalability.
• Familiarity with search and retrieval systems such as semantic search, vector stores, indexing, and ranking.
• Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools to create, validate, and refine outputs for security and performance.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and resiliency expectations.
• Comfort working with LLM-based systems including prompting patterns, structured outputs, evaluation, and guardrails.
• Experience with Python, Java (Spring Boot), OpenAI, AWS, and vector databases like Pinecone (preferred).
