As a Software Engineer III (Full Stack Java) within Credit Risk Technology, you will join an agile team to design and deliver secure, stable, and scalable technology products. You are responsible for executing software solutions, troubleshooting complex problems, and creating high-quality production code while maintaining algorithms that run synchronously with existing systems. Your daily work involves producing architecture artifacts, analyzing large datasets to improve system performance, and identifying patterns to enhance coding hygiene. The role requires proficiency in Java, SpringBoot, JPA, and Rest, along with experience in Junit and Mockito for automated unit testing. You will navigate the full software development life cycle using agile methodologies like CI/CD and application resiliency. Preferred skills include front-end technologies such as ReactJS or AngularJS, cloud services via AWS, and automation to solve critical technical challenges within the firm's business functions.
Design and develop secure, high-quality production code for scalable software products.
Troubleshoot complex technical problems by developing non-conventional solutions.
Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring code meets constraints.
Analyze large, diverse datasets to create visualizations and reports for system improvement.
Identify hidden patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.

What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency in coding using Java, SpringBoot, JPA, and Rest.
Experience writing high-quality code with full automated unit test coverage using Junit or Mockito.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Solid understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Experience with front-end technologies (ReactJS, AngularJS), cloud technologies (AWS), or automation (preferred).
