What you'll do

Build, test, deploy, maintain, and scale backend services in a microservices architecture.
Use Scala and relational databases like Postgres to develop high-level programming solutions.
Implement event streaming and messaging using Kafka.

Participate in a weekly on-call rotation every five weeks to support production systems.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 4 years of programming experience, including experience in Scala.
Minimum 1 year of experience in maintaining cloud-native systems, microservices, or supporting production systems.
Experience with CI pipelines, observability, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Docker, or Kubernetes.
Ability to work independently and with self-motivation.
Availability to work on-call hours for a 1-week rotation every 5 weeks.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science (preferred).
Experience working in a microservices architecture (preferred).
Experience with Rust (preferred).
