As a Software Engineer III - Android/Mobile, you will join the Subscriptions Team to design and develop scalable software solutions for a global e-commerce platform. You will lead the development of high-quality software components, troubleshoot complex production issues through root cause analysis, and mentor junior engineers. Your daily responsibilities include implementing automation scripts for continuous integration, monitoring application performance, and ensuring adherence to security standards. You will utilize a technical stack including Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow/LiveData, MVVM and MVI architectures, Retrofit, and GraphQL. Additionally, you will work with Android SDKs, Jetpack libraries, and Node.js, Java, or Go for serverside APIs. This role solves critical commerce problems by building reliable systems that process billions of transactions while integrating AI-driven recommendations and omnichannel features.

What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area and 2 years of software engineering experience.
Must have 4 years of experience in software engineering or a related area.
Must have 4+ years of experience in software development, including 3+ years in Android development using Kotlin.
Must have experience developing and testing Serverside APIs for mobile and web clients using Node.js, Java, or Go.
Must be proficient with Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow/LiveData, MVVM & MVI architectures, Retrofit, and GraphQL.
Must have experience with Android framework components, multithreading, networking performance tuning, SDKs, and Jetpack libraries.
Must have familiarity with public cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure.
Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related area (preferred).
Must have knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies (preferred).
Must have experience with GraphQL APIs using Apollo (preferred).
