What you'll do

Build and ship user-facing features for the Uber Eats Home Feed using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Own features end-to-end from technical design and implementation through A/B experimentation and launch.
Improve web performance, accessibility, and reliability including page load and rendering latency.
Write clear design documents and conduct code reviews to maintain high software quality.
Share ownership of team systems including on-call rotations, operations, and maintenance.
Translate product ideas into polished, data-driven experiences by partnering with cross-functional teams.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
2+ years of full-time software engineering work experience.
Technical software engineering experience in JavaScript or TypeScript.
Proficiency in modern web frameworks like React, VueJS, or Angular, plus HTML, CSS, and web APIs.
Understanding of modern web application architecture, rendering strategies, state management, and client-server data flow.
Knowledge of algorithm and data structure fundamentals, including hash tables, trees, stacks, queues, linked lists, DFS, and BFS.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience with back-end systems, web performance optimization, experimentation, or large-scale consumer products (preferred).
