What you'll do

Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions while considering upstream and downstream system impacts.
Perform root cause analysis to resolve daily production issues for core and code-related problems.
Execute monthly or quarterly deployments to ensure smooth implementation of updates and changes.
Manage Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Service Request (SR) activities to maintain system stability.
Utilize enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to improve code quality, refactoring, and unit test creation.
Analyze large, diverse datasets to identify problems and inform decision-making for secure application development.
Resolve breaks in debit or credit processes by coordinating with operations and other relevant teams.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with the ability to critically evaluate and validate outputs.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and security considerations.
Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Experience with high-volume systems, REST APIs, messaging technologies (MQ, Kafka), and cloud-native distributed architectures (preferred).
