What you'll do

Develop full-stack features from initial component design through backend service implementation and deployment.
Instrument client-side performance metrics, error tracking, and backend logging to monitor system health.
Triage, investigate, and resolve security vulnerability reports from root-cause analysis to final fix.
Manage CI/CD pipelines including front-end build tooling, bundle optimization, and deployment automation.
Diagnose and resolve production issues ranging from client regressions to backend failures during on-call rotations.
Write clean, maintainable code while ensuring all contributions align with secure software development frameworks.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to build and release features for the elastic.co site.

What we're looking for

3+ years in a full-stack or frontend role.
Proven depth in TypeScript and React, including component architecture, performance, and state management.
Experience building, deploying, debugging, and maintaining backend services using Node.js, Python, or Go.
Experience owning end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, front-end build tooling, and deployment automation.
Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development and debug complex systems.
Experience building for high availability and scalability while writing secure code and resolving security issues.
Ability to work autonomously in a globally distributed, async-first environment.
Compliance with U.S. and other countries' export controls and licensing requirements.
