What you'll do

Build and extend AI agent capabilities across service, claims, and operations on conversational AI platforms.
Develop and maintain APIs connecting AI vendors to internal systems like Salesforce, Snapsheet, NICE, and Auth0.
Conduct vendor evaluation spikes by building proofs-of-concept and documenting findings for decision-making.
Build data export pipelines from AI platforms into the data warehouse for downstream analytics.
Instrument integrations with metrics to track performance and report on cost-to-serve.
Manage go-live operations including routing configuration, traffic management, and fallback validation.
Participate in an OnCall rotation to resolve incidents during US business hours.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
3+ years of backend engineering experience.
Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in service-oriented architectures.
Experience with Postgres or an equivalent relational database.
Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, deployment, and tooling.
Ability to work with third-party vendor SDKs and APIs with limited documentation.
Strong debugging instincts across distributed and multi-service systems.
