What you'll do

Build and enhance large-scale distributed systems for services like App Store, Apple Music, and Apple TV+.
Develop and maintain high-performance web services with a focus on median, 95th, and 99th percentile performance.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and other API technologies for the developer community.
Manage and scale distributed data stores using NoSQL or document-oriented technologies.
Write effective unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
Develop creative features that enhance the customer experience across multiple Apple client applications.
Solve complex technical problems using sophisticated engineering solutions and data structures.

What we're looking for

B.S. in Computer Science or similar field.
At least 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
Knowledge of JVM or functional languages like Clojure.
Strong object oriented design and analysis skills with a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs or other API technologies.
Experience with NoSQL or document oriented data stores (preferred).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and write effective unit and integration tests (preferred).
