Software Engineer, Cloud Platform

What you'll do

• Design, implement, test, and operate services, data pipelines, or platform components for AI-enabled security detection.
• Build reliable backend services, APIs, and automation workflows using Python and modern engineering technologies.
• Process and normalize security telemetry including endpoint events, network activity, and cloud audit data.
• Develop correlation, enrichment, and context-generation capabilities to produce explainable security findings.
• Prototype AI features using existing models, retrieval systems, embeddings, or agent frameworks.
• Create measurable tests and evaluations for accuracy, reliability, latency, cost, and operational usefulness.
• Troubleshoot issues across software, data, and service integrations while improving system observability.
• Participate in production support and on-call responsibilities as required by the team's operating model.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience developing backend services, APIs, data-processing systems, or distributed software.
• Experience with Python and Python-based systems.
• Experience with software development fundamentals including design, testing, debugging, code review, version control, and CI/CD.
• Experience working with structured or semi-structured event data, logs, metrics, or telemetry.
• Experience building data ingestion, parsing, normalization, enrichment, or correlation pipelines (preferred).
• Experience with security operations, SIEM, TDIR, threat detection, or incident response workflows (preferred).
