Software Engineer, Cloud Platform & Data Plane Transport

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services, APIs, and distributed systems using Go.
• Build secure connectivity solutions for service registration, orchestration, routing, and proxy-based communication.
• Own features from initial implementation and testing through deployment and production support.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native services in AWS and GCP with a focus on scalability and security.
• Troubleshoot issues across application code, cloud infrastructure, and networking components.
• Improve automated testing, monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational tooling.
• Contribute to frontend applications and platform management experiences using TypeScript and React.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain production reliability and address recurring issues.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience building backend services and REST APIs using Go or a comparable backend language.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including debugging, automated testing, and writing clean, maintainable code.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and service-to-service communication.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including HTTP/TLS, TCP/IP, DNS, and client-server communication.
• Experience developing or deploying applications in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
