Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and build core components of the Common Services Platform to enable scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native deployments.
• Develop Go microservices and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Build event-driven systems using message streaming platforms like Kafka for asynchronous communication.
• Manage large-scale data storage using both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) systems.
• Create prototypes and POCs to explore new ideas, validate technical approaches, and test performance.
• Partner with Product Management to define requirements, estimate effort, and contribute to sprint planning.
• Mentor peers and engineering interns while sharing best practices for professional growth.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years experience, Master's plus 3 years, or PhD with no additional experience in enterprise software development.
• 3+ years of experience developing and managing cloud-native web applications and microservices using Golang, Terraform, and serverless technologies.
• 3+ years of experience using SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) storage systems.
• 1+ year of experience building event-driven systems using Kafka, SQS, or SNS for asynchronous communication.
• Experience using AI/ML tools or APIs to support software development workflows.
• Proficiency in advanced data structures and algorithms such as graph traversal and hierarchical data modeling.
• Experience with clean/layered service architectures and ORM frameworks like GORM.
• Ability to communicate clearly and summarize information concisely across cross-functional and distributed teams.
