What you'll do

Design and deliver robust, scalable software solutions for distributed systems.
Own the full software development lifecycle including technical design, backend architecture, and deployment.
Develop REST or GraphQL APIs using languages like Python, Go, Node.js, Java, or Rust.
Manage database schema design, query optimization, and event-streaming technologies like Kafka.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines while managing cloud infrastructure via AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Implement observability practices including metrics, logging, distributed tracing, and alerting for complex systems.
Mentor junior engineers to improve the team's collective technical expertise.
Apply AI-assisted development tools and AIOps practices to improve engineering efficiency.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field with 7+ years of experience in the full software development lifecycle.
Master's degree with 4+ years of related experience.
PhD with 1+ year of related experience.
Experience in backend development using Python, Go, Node.js, Java, or Rust.
Experience developing REST or GraphQL APIs and managing relational or NoSQL databases.
Experience with messaging/event-streaming technologies like Kafka or AWS SQS/SNS.
Experience with CI/CD workflows, including building pipelines and resolving deployment failures.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS), container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
