As an early member of the Bridge engineering team in either New York or San Francisco, you will join a dynamic group dedicated to building a new global payments platform using stablecoins. Your primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining our suite of API products, taking full ownership of projects from conception to deployment, and collaborating with internal teams like Legal and Compliance as well as external partners. You will work on highly reliable and performant infrastructure serving thousands of developers worldwide, making effective trade-offs between business priorities, user experience, and technical sustainability. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of backend development experience with SQL databases and frameworks such as Rails, Django, or Express, along with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience with crypto or financial products is beneficial but not required, as is familiarity with blockchain or distributed systems.
