What you'll do

Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and distributed systems principles.
Build and maintain high-throughput, low-latency APIs for internal users.
Develop reliable, observable cloud-native services using Kubernetes, Kafka, OpenSearch, Solr, and Cassandra.
Execute platform modernization tasks including service migrations, data routing, and ingestion pipelines.
Enhance deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and performance testing tools.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform performance tuning to improve service reliability.
Translate product requirements into well-designed technical solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality and platform innovation.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
2+ years of software engineering experience developing backend or distributed systems.
Strong Java development experience, preferably with modern JDK versions (preferred).
Hands-on coding experience with Python.
Good understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, scalability, reliability, and fault-tolerant design.
Hands-on experience with Kafka, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Solr, Cassandra, or similar distributed technologies.
Experience developing cloud-native applications and working with Kubernetes (preferred).
Familiarity with AI concepts, LLM-based development tools, or AI-assisted software engineering (preferred).
