Software Engineer, AI Enablement

What you'll do

• Extend and maintain internal AI platforms like Archimedes, Bosun, and easyRAG.
• Build reusable platform capabilities including APIs, SDKs, templates, and shared services.
• Prototype and productionize new AI capabilities and durable platform features.
• Implement standardized, observable, and governed features for launching AI-powered assistants.
• Apply and refine golden path patterns for LLM usage, safety, and cost control.
• Execute evaluation, observability, and cost-management practices across all AI systems.
• Partner with Security, Risk, and Legal teams to implement responsible AI guardrails.

What we're looking for

• Experience as a software engineer with a track record of shipping production-quality features in a distributed system or platform environment.
• Hands-on experience working with LLMs or ML services, or a demonstrated ability to ramp quickly into AI-specific tooling.
• Solid coding skills in at least one of Python, Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Ability to work across services, CLIs, and internal tooling.
• An emerging platform mindset focused on reuse and building for multiple consumers.
• Familiarity with or eagerness to learn AI-specific concerns such as evaluation, prompt management, observability, cost control, safety, and data privacy.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to explain technical tradeoffs to teammates and cross-functional partners.
