As a Software Development Engineering - Advisor I, you will join the platform engineering team to build and improve capabilities that support secure, reliable software delivery in high-availability environments. You will architect, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines while automating deployment workflows and improving operational efficiency. Your daily work involves developing automation scripts and tools using Python, Bash, and Golang to reduce manual effort. You will manage Kubernetes-based environments utilizing Argo CD, Helm, Terraform, and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS). The role requires expertise in GitLab, Git, Artifactory, and SonarQube to support build, test, and release processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to solve complex infrastructure challenges, ensuring high-quality releases through integration and regression testing within a secure, regulated technical framework.
Architect, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and related automation tools.
Support automated application deployments using Kubernetes, EKS, Argo CD, Helm, and Terraform.
Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python, Bash, and Golang to reduce manual effort.
Perform integration and regression testing within Kubernetes-based environments to ensure release quality.
Implement secure engineering practices including pipeline controls, artifact management, and code quality validation.
Manage and prioritize tasks in an Agile environment based on evolving technical requirements.
What we're looking for
6+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or software engineering with a focus on CI/CD automation.
4+ years of experience designing and managing secure CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
4+ years of experience with Kubernetes orchestration including Argo CD, Helm, Terraform, and AWS EKS environments.
4+ years of experience developing automation scripts using Python, Bash, Golang, or similar languages.
3+ years of experience using source control and repository management tools like Git, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
3+ years of experience supporting integration and regression testing in Kubernetes-based environments.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, or military service.
Work authorization to be considered for this role.
