Software Development Engineer in Test, Systems & Algorithms Evaluation, Sensing & Connectivity

What you'll do

• Own and lead quality for next-generation health and fitness features from early development through release.
• Design and build infrastructure and frameworks to validate product features.
• Profile system-level performance, including memory and power, while features are in use.
• Use AI to develop tools and processes for ensuring software quality.
• Analyze algorithm performance and telemetry to contextualize the customer experience.
• Validate hardware and software integration, specifically for sensor-driven products.
• Develop automated test systems and infrastructure at scale.

What we're looking for

• BS or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Biomechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality, systems, or infrastructure engineering, ideally on consumer hardware or sensor-driven products.
• Proficiency in Python, Swift, Objective-C, or C++.
• Understanding of system-level performance characterization, such as memory and power.
• Experience designing and building test infrastructure, frameworks, or automation systems at scale.
• Proven track record of influencing engineering direction across teams (preferred).
• Experience using Generative AI to speed up test development and analysis (preferred).
• Experience validating hardware/software integration, ideally with sensors (preferred).
