Software Development Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain features for cabin network management, connectivity monitoring, and software lifecycle systems.
• Write production-quality code for certified embedded environments following DO-178C Level E standards.
• Build over-the-air software deployment pipelines including cryptographic validation and automatic rollback features.
• Create observability infrastructure such as health endpoints, telemetry collection, and built-in test execution.
• Implement software against established interface definitions and Architecture Decision Records.
• Write and execute unit, integration, and requirements-based tests across various cabin hardware platforms.
• Integrate software using hardware abstraction layers to ensure codebase portability across different devices.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
• 1+ years of experience developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
• Experience with virtualization, containers (Kubernetes, Docker), Linux, and networking protocols is preferred.
• Experience in aviation, aerospace, or safety-adjacent embedded software development including DO-178C standards is preferred.
