JOB TITLE: SoC Software Engineer – New College Graduate 2026 As a New College Graduate SoC Software Engineer, you will join a team building and maintaining software for complex heterogeneous computing systems. You will design and develop SoC software, validation solutions, and test frameworks for CPU, SoC, and GPU-based platforms. Your daily work involves developing software across user space, the kernel, firmware, and SoC boot software to support the journey from virtual prototypes to production-ready hardware. You will use C and C++ programming skills, object-oriented design, and knowledge of device drivers and computer architecture to solve system-level challenges. The role focuses on improving performance, reliability, and power efficiency for AI, HPC, and accelerated computing workloads. You will collaborate with architecture and ASIC teams to integrate new capabilities across the software stack.

What you'll do

Design and develop SoC software, validation solutions, and test frameworks for CPU, SoC, and GPU platforms.
Develop software across user space, the kernel, firmware, and SoC boot software.
Build system validation and reliability software for virtual prototypes and production-ready hardware.
Contribute to system software architecture and integrate new capabilities across the software stack.
Investigate hardware and software issues to improve performance, reliability, power efficiency, and serviceability.
Work with architecture and ASIC teams to translate requirements into new computing platforms.
Apply emerging technologies and industry standards to solve real-world engineering problems.

What we're looking for

Pursuing or recently completed a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Strong C or C++ programming skills and an understanding of object-oriented design.
Familiarity with low-level systems software, device drivers, and understanding of OS and computer architecture.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of Linux systems or kernel internals (preferred).
Understanding of server, PC, embedded, or other complex computing architectures (preferred).
Experience with SoC development, pre-silicon environments, silicon bring-up, or hardware validation (preferred).
