Cyber Vulnerability Management SME

What you'll do

• Install, configure, and maintain Tenable Security Center on Linux/Red Hat platforms.
• Ensure vulnerability management systems comply with DISA STIG, NSA guidelines, and organizational policies.
• Manage credentialed and non-credentialed scans, including asset groups and plugin updates.
• Analyze scan results to identify misconfigurations and prioritize remediation based on mission needs.
• Produce recurring reports, dashboards, and metrics for Command Leadership.
• Provide expert guidance on configuration hardening, patching strategies, and POA&M management.
• Monitor and secure cloud workloads across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments.
• Conduct log analysis, event correlation, and investigation of suspicious activity using Microsoft Defender.

What we're looking for

• Must possess a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• Must be a United States citizen.
• 8 or more years of related experience required.
• Experience with Information Assurance, Scanning, Security Policies, and Threat Detection is required.
• Proficiency with Splunk, Elastic for Cloud, EDR tools, Antivirus platforms, and ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Remedy is required.
• Expertise in Tenable Security Center on Linux/Red Hat platforms and compliance with DISA STIGs and NSA guidelines is required.
• DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant certification (preferred).
• US Citizenship.
