Site Reliability Engineer 5

What you'll do

• Drive the architectural vision for resilient, large-scale production systems.
• Spearhead strategic automation to eliminate systemic toil and improve platform efficiency.
• Lead crisis management, perform deep-dive RCAs, and define outage prevention strategies.
• Define and govern the secure, multi-cloud Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy.
• Establish organization-wide SLOs and drive accountability for error budget compliance.
• Serve as a primary technical mentor to scale SRE talent and culture.
• Implement proactive capacity forecasting, cost optimization, and FinOps strategies for core infrastructure.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• Master’s Degree (preferred).
• At least 10 years of experience driving cross-organizational reliability strategy and defining multi-year technical roadmaps.
• At least 8 years of experience in global cloud architecture, optimization, and financial or security governance across multiple cloud providers.
• 4+ years of experience defining and driving organization-wide IaC/CI/CD strategies and best practices (preferred).
• Expert in optimizing complex, high-scale distributed systems and cloud-native architectures like Kubernetes and Serverless (preferred).
• Proven success leading the integration of SRE principles within mature Agile/Scrum development environments (preferred).
• Deep experience designing and implementing holistic observability and advanced, metrics-driven SLO frameworks (preferred).
