TL;DR · Silicon Validation Engineer

As a Silicon Validation Engineer, you will join the team to develop, maintain, and optimize software for the characterization, validation, and debug of analog and mixed-signal embedded circuits and silicon subsystems. Your daily responsibilities include designing embedded system software for lab instrumentation, performing time-domain and frequency-domain signal analysis, and building data warehousing and visualization pipelines to manage large volumes of measurement data. You will develop artificial intelligence solutions using deep learning models and convolutional neural networks for predictive modeling, while deploying computer vision pipelines for automated monitoring. Utilizing technologies such as SPI, I2C, UART, MPI, OpenMP, and CUDA, you will accelerate compute-intensive workloads across multi-core CPU and GPU architectures. This role focuses on solving technical challenges in silicon characterization workflows by integrating lab software with upstream design tools and downstream system software to ensure robust hardware bring-up support.

What you'll do

  • Develop and optimize software for lab characterization, validation, and debugging of analog and mixed-signal embedded circuits.
  • Design embedded system software for hardware control and peripheral communication interfaces like SPI, I2C, and UART.
  • Perform signal analysis and processing to extract electrical parameters from analog and mixed-signal waveforms.
  • Build data warehousing, visualization, and post-processing pipelines to manage large volumes of measurement data.
  • Develop AI/ML models and computer vision pipelines for predictive modeling and automated equipment monitoring.
  • Utilize parallel computing frameworks like MPI, OpenMP, and CUDA to accelerate compute-intensive signal processing workloads.
  • Architect scalable software components using advanced algorithms and data structures for lab tooling infrastructure.
  • Integrate lab software with upstream design tools and downstream system software to enable end-to-end validation workflows.

What we're looking for

  • Develop and optimize software for lab characterization, validation, and debug of analog and mixed-signal embedded circuits.
