Senior Windows SME

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert and lead for all Windows Server environments.
• Design, architect, implement, and sustain enterprise Windows infrastructure.
• Monitor system health and performance to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact operations.
• Lead complex troubleshooting efforts and perform deep root cause analysis for system failures.
• Enforce enterprise standards, baselines, and hardening guidelines in alignment with security frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior system administrators and engineers.
• Manage system lifecycle activities including patching, upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
• Perform basic Linux system administration and coordinate cross-platform support tasks.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8+ years of experience, or a master's degree and 6–10 years of experience.
• Security+ Certification or another DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification.
• Active TS and SCI eligibility.
• Strong experience administering Windows Server environments.
• Deep understanding of core Windows services and system management.
• Working knowledge of Linux systems.
• Solid troubleshooting and communication skills.
