What you'll do

Design and own the cloud infrastructure for physics-informed and data-driven scientific workflows.
Develop novel algorithms to improve system performance across the full stack including DL frameworks and numerical solvers.
Build and operate scalable I/O infrastructure for checkpointing, data loading, and processing.
Optimize compute, storage, and network architectures specifically for physics and simulation applications.
Manage heterogeneous accelerated computing environments utilizing both CPUs and GPUs.
Debug and optimize performance across compute, networking, and I/O frameworks.
Implement distributed systems features including fault tolerance, consensus protocols, and parallel processing.

What we're looking for

BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience building and operating distributed compute and data intensive platform as a service on cloud.
Proven skill in a compiled language such as Go, Rust, or C++.
Strong foundational knowledge in Cloud Computing architecture, security, virtualization, and resource pooling.
Proven skills in Distributed Systems and Parallel Processing including consensus protocols, fault tolerance, and message passing.
Hands-on debugging skills involving processes, threads, memory management, and I/O structures.
Strong evidence of algorithmic thinking and large-scale distributed system design.
Experience building and operating AI platforms on HPC clusters or cloud-native systems is preferred.
