What you'll do

Integrate various sensors including Cameras, LIDAR, RADAR, and GPS into the autonomous driving software stack.
Develop and improve the startup user experience for the autonomous vehicle software stack.
Create and maintain data recording and mining software for autonomous vehicle fleets.
Develop sensor abstraction layers, data processing modules, and service frameworks.
Implement performance optimizations for high-scale applications on multi-computer and heterogeneous architectures.
Manage data serialization and middleware features for self-driving car systems.
Develop application frameworks and tools for embedded systems and real-time operating systems.

What we're looking for

BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of professional experience working on system software.
Excellent programming skills in C++, C, and Python.
Solid understanding of Linux, QNX, ROS, and/or real-time operating systems.
Knowledge of embedded system programming, threading, mutex, synchronization, communication, and parallel computing.
Familiarity with hardware architecture for CPU/GPU and memory alongside performance.
Prior experience in Autonomous Vehicles, Robotics, Self-Driving Cars, GPU technology, or Embedded Systems (preferred).
Deep understanding of system architecture and performance optimization (preferred).
