The work requires expertise in embedded system programming, threading, mutex, synchronization, and parallel computing. You will solve security problems for sensors including Cameras, LIDAR, RADAR, GPS, IMU, and Vehicle CAN.

What you'll do

Integrate security features into the autonomous vehicle driving software stack.
Develop and improve security work-products for the AV platform.
Write security-related code for sensor abstraction layers, data processing, and middleware.
Manage security governance topics and guide other teams on security mechanism implementation.
Develop performant and scalable solutions for data collection and autonomous vehicle fleets.
Implement software security features that interact with cameras, LIDAR, RADAR, GPS, and vehicle CAN.
Build highly-scalable and efficient applications using threading, mutex, and parallel computing.

What we're looking for

BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of professional experience working on system software.
Excellent programming skills in C++, C, and Python.
Familiarity with source control tools.
Solid understanding of Linux, QNX, ROS, and/or real-time operating systems.
Experience developing user-space system software with a willingness to work in kernel-space or low-level hardware.
Knowledge of embedded system programming, threading, mutex, synchronization, communication, and parallel computing.
Prior experience in Autonomous Vehicles, Robotics, Self-Driving-Cars, GPU technology, Embedded Systems, or Computer Vision (preferred).
