What you'll do

Lead the execution of GM’s System Safety Process for ADAS features like DAA2.0 and RIM.
Conduct hazard identification and risk mitigation using qualitative and quantitative methods.
Develop safety requirements by decomposing system functions and performing detailed hazard analysis.
Create and maintain a clear development plan for all system safety deliverables.
Partner with cross-functional teams to balance feature availability, performance, and safety.
Support the validation and verification of safety requirements across end-to-end implementation.

What we're looking for

5+ years of industry experience in systems safety, engineering, or related fields.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with technical depth.
Experience developing safety cases for ADAS features and automated driving.
Hands-on application of ISO 26262, SOTIF, or similar safety standards.
Proficiency in HARA, FMEA, FTA, and other formal safety analysis techniques.
Involvement in vehicle integration, validation, and road testing of critical systems.
