You will solve complex supply chain challenges by ensuring parts meet strict quality criteria while reducing risk and improving cycle times. This position is critical for developing high-tech products within a high-mix, low-volume environment to ensure reliable production flow for essential hardware components.

What you'll do

  • Manage mechanical casting commodities from new product introduction through full production across all business lines.
  • Vet supplier production capabilities, facility layouts, and workforce qualifications for inclusion on the Approved Supplier List.
  • Oversee the implementation of new production tooling and lines to ensure materials and processes meet performance requirements.
  • Drive capacity expansion readiness and manage production ramp-ups at supplier sites.
  • Establish and lead process performance and control (SPC) reviews at supplier locations.
  • Identify and implement product, process, and layout improvements to reduce costs and supply risks.
  • Lead root cause task forces to resolve quality issues and close out corrective actions with suppliers.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 6+ years of experience in supplier quality and industrialization within a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical expertise in mechanical casting manufacturing, IPC standards, CAD, and GD&T.
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
  • Ability to relocate to or work onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
