Oracle is seeking a Senior Component Quality Engineer with 8-10+ years of experience to support quality and reliability for GPU networking hardware and related infrastructure components. This role involves working closely with leading semiconductor, networking, and storage suppliers across various components such as NVSwitch, switches, routers, NICs, AOC/optical interconnects, CPUs, memory, GPUs, NAND, HDDs, SSDs, and JBODs. The engineer will define, measure, and manage key quality indicators like DPM, AFR, RPM, and MTBF, conduct root cause analysis using 8D methodologies, and partner with suppliers to resolve quality issues throughout the product lifecycle from NPI to EOL. Required skills include a strong understanding of PC/server hardware components, networking hardware operation, semiconductor manufacturing processes, data analysis, and statistical process control, along with excellent communication and decision-making abilities under tight timelines. Preferred qualifications include experience in volume manufacturing or supplier quality engineering, supporting networking hardware, GPU networking, high-speed interconnects, and data center infrastructure.
