What you'll do

Manage mechanical commodity production strategies from initial prototype through full-scale manufacturing.
Vet supplier facilities, workforce capabilities, and equipment for inclusion on the approved supplier list.
Oversee manufacturing process development and the setup of new production lines and tooling at supplier sites.
Drive capacity expansion roadmaps and manage production ramp-ups at supplier locations.
Monitor and enforce performance standards through statistical process control reviews at supplier facilities.
Identify and implement improvements to factory layouts and processes to reduce costs and supply risks.
Lead root cause investigations and ensure the closure of corrective actions for quality issues.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
6+ years of experience in supplier quality and industrialization within a manufacturing environment.
Technical expertise in composites, thermoplastics manufacturing, IPC standards, CAD, and GD&T.
Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
Ability to relocate to Huntsville, AL if not already local.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or metallurgical/materials engineering (preferred).
Experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or other related industries (preferred).
