Senior Staff Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead initiatives to transform IT Compute platform architecture for new service offerings across On-Prem & Cloud.
• Define and implement metrics to measure the efficiency of compute platforms and services.
• Develop and maintain tools for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data for reporting and monitoring.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and product managers to develop compelling IT products and services.
• Evaluate existing application architectures to identify opportunities for containerization to improve scalability.

What we're looking for

• 12+ years of experience in compute platform engineering with a focus on automation.
• Proven expertise in designing and deploying virtualization architectures and containerized environments.
• In-depth knowledge of hardware technologies like SR-IOV, DPU, GPU, and their implementation.
• Strong analytical skills for defining and tracking key performance metrics.
• Experience developing tools for data analysis and performance profiling using Terraform and configuration management tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go or Python.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
