What you'll do

  • Define the long-term vision and roadmap for both real-time (online) and batch (offline) recommendation platforms.
  • Manage the ranking and scoring systems that determine personalized content and offers across all digital channels.
  • Unify online and offline platforms onto a shared roadmap to ensure cross-channel learnings improve both in-app and messaging experiences.
  • Develop reusable platform primitives to enable data science and product teams to deploy features more rapidly.
  • Lead the migration of legacy components to a next-generation architecture while reducing technical debt.
  • Scale recommendation capabilities across multiple Intuit Consumer Group brands, including Credit Karma and TurboTax.
  • Translate complex technical requirements into clear decision documents and roadmaps for engineering and data science teams.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of platform features from initial concept through execution and measurement.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of product management experience owning technical platform or infrastructure products in a cross-functional setting.
  • Deep technical fluency with APIs, distributed and real-time systems, and the architecture of ML platforms.
  • Ability to engage engineers and data scientists as a credible partner making sound architectural tradeoffs.
  • Experience with recommendation systems, ranking, personalization, or machine learning platforms (preferred).
  • Proven ability to ship platform capabilities at scale while balancing long-term technical investment against near-term business outcomes.
  • Experience partnering closely with data science and ML teams to move models from concept to production.
  • Track record of translating complex problems into clear narratives, decision documents, and roadmaps for senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to craft strategic narratives and technical specifications.
