As a Senior Staff Storage Engineer in the EDA and HPC infrastructure team, you will serve as the technical authority for storage solutions that support large-scale GPU and system-level IP development programs. Your responsibilities include leading the architecture, scalability, and capacity roadmap for NetApp ONTAP and Linux-based storage systems, optimizing performance across petabyte-scale NFS environments, and deploying enterprise-scale storage platforms. You will work closely with CAD, silicon design, infrastructure, and SRE teams to ensure resilient and efficient storage solutions. Key tasks involve diagnosing complex issues, advancing automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and ONTAP REST APIs, and providing technical leadership through mentoring and driving root-cause analysis for critical incidents. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with NetApp ONTAP, Linux filesystems, EDA/HPC workloads, and strong analytical skills, along with expertise in automation tools and a deep understanding of NFS-on-Linux environments.

Drive technical direction for petabyte-scale NFS environments, focusing on performance optimization and cost efficiency.
Architect and deploy enterprise-scale storage platforms, including multi-site replication topologies.
Diagnose and resolve complex end-to-end performance issues in EDA and HPC workloads.
Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers and driving root-cause analysis for critical incidents.
What we're looking for
11+ years of enterprise storage engineering experience with a focus on large-scale EDA and HPC environments.
Expert-level knowledge in NetApp ONTAP, including FlexGroup, SnapMirror, FabricPool, QoS, performance analysis, and REST API automation.
Deep expertise in Linux filesystems (XFS, ZFS, ext4) and NFS tuning for high-performance computing workloads.
Strong background in defining storage architecture, scalability, and operational strategy for petabyte-scale environments with thousands of clients.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex end-to-end performance issues using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and API-driven tooling.
