What you'll do

Architect real-time, event-driven data pipelines for authorization, transaction, settlement, and fraud-relevant events.
Define a canonical data model to reconcile three legacy schemes into one shared model.
Design and build a catalog and metadata layer including schema registry, lineage, and data contracts.
Set technical architecture standards for streaming, storage, and low-latency serving at network scale.
Serve as the deep technical authority for data engineering and advocate for data standardization.
Partner with Fraud/AML, Analytics, and Modeling leadership to align architecture with their roadmaps.
Mentor engineers across the organization to raise the technical bar for the new network build.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 9 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture.
At least 9 years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns.
At least 9 years of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
At least 9 years of experience in data architecture.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (preferred).
12+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, cloud computing, and data architecture (preferred).
Experience with web technologies, distributed HPC/ML systems, real-time streaming, and high-availability distributed systems (preferred).
