Key technologies involve Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, CircleCI, and SonarQube. This role focuses on the technical transition from a traditional IT model to a tech organization by optimizing container runtimes and OS image builds.

What you'll do

  • Ensure the security, availability, and performance of containerized applications.
  • Develop best practices and standards for container runtime technology.
  • Manage the deployment, scaling, and lifecycle of applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Integrate container runtimes seamlessly with the overall technology stack.
  • Implement and enforce security measures to protect container runtimes against vulnerabilities.
  • Partner with quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability of container runtime solutions.
  • Design and implement resilient, scalable, and efficient software solutions.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
  • 10+ years of professional PaaS and IaaS experience.
  • 10+ years of experience working with Linux.
  • 8+ years of experience with architecture and design.
  • Deep Linux technical knowledge and experience with the Linux kernel.
  • Fluency in one or more of the following languages: Rust, Golang, and/or C.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and related container orchestration platforms.
  • 6+ years of experience with open source projects (preferred).
